Autobiography
Tsern-Huei Lee received the B.S. degree from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C., in 1981, the M.S. degree from University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1984, and the Ph.D. degree from University of Southern California, Los Angeles, in 1987, all in electrical engineering. Since 1987 he has been a member of the Faculty of National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, R.O.C., where he is a Professor with the Department of Communication Engineering and a member of the Center for Telecommunications Research. His current research interests are in communication protocols, broadband switch architectures, traffic management, and wireless communications. Dr. Lee received an Outstanding Paper Award from the Institute of Chinese Engineers in 1991 and an Outstanding Research Award from National Science Council in 1993.
