Sau-Hsuan Wu received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Engineering Science from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan in 1990 and 1993, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California, Los Angeles in 2003. From 1993 to 1995, he served as a logistic officer in the Army of Taiwan and from 1995 to 1999, he was a circuit and system design engineer in Taiwan. Before joining the Communication Engineering Department of National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan in 2005, he also served as a technical consultant for broadband wireless communications systems design. His industrial R&D activities include system and FPGA design for DSP-based systems, algorithm and ASIC design for image scanners and system design for broadband wireless communications. His research interest lies in the areas of signal processing and communications theories. His recent research works include reduced-rank multiuser receivers for DS-CDMA systems, graphical representations for joint channel estimation and symbol detection in multipath fading channels and recursive receivers for OFDM systems. |
